About

Tabitha Lily is an indie folk / acoustic singer-songwriter based in Hertfordshire. Self-taught on guitar, she began writing songs at the age of 15, crafting intimate stories about grief, love and heartbreak through a soulful acoustic sound. Now 22, she has played countless weddings, pubs, restaurants and venues across the UK including PizzaExpress Live. She has also opened for Cameron Sanderson during his 2023 Tour 'This Is The Film'. Her sound is rooted in honest, storytelling song-writing, combining intimate lyrics with a raw, acoustic-driven sound.

Influenced by the emotionally raw song-writing of Amy Winehouse and Fleetwood Mac-style soulful production, the vocal tones of Lizzy McAlpine, and the guitar strumming of Joni Mitchell.

Her soulful debut single 'Mine' released May 29th, exploring her personal experiences of grief and bargaining, has begun attracting attention from local radio stations and regional press.

About 'Mine'

''I wrote this track a few years ago to express what it felt like to be stuck in grief, specifically the bargaining stage. A pressure to feel accepted by your person through slowly changing bits and pieces of yourself to please, until you suddenly realise how much you've truly lost touch with your own identity. I fell into a deep low, and decided to write exactly what I was feeling in that moment, no matter how messy the page. Releasing this track felt like I'd truly let go of that stage of my life. I'd say this was definitely my first heartbreak, not only of the specific person it's about, but of myself too.'' - Tabitha Lily
